The story of the apparitions of Our Lady of Guadalupe to the native Juan Diego Cuauhtlatoatzin at the hill of Tepeyac have seemed to us so passionate that, moved by the force of love, we have lent our hands to Her in order that She will make her maternal love felt to the ones that read this love message and want to find her with sincere heart. That is how this little book titled “Una Gran Senal Aparecio en el Cielo” was born. The themes are short and various. Already it has been published 12,000 copies in three consecutive editions. This one, like the preceding ones, has as main source the document written by Don Antonio Valeriano, written in nahualt language (1556-56) titled Nican Mopohua and it is a unique example of the enculturation of the Gospel in the New World. After the success that Fernando Ojeda Llanes had with his book about Our Lady of Guadalupe titled “La Tilma Guadalupana revela sus secretos”, in which he publishes his research about the flowers on the ayate of San Juan Diego. He brings us this new book, in which based on an intensive research work he incursions proving with mathematics and with direct observations, the studies that the specialists and scientists had done on the eyes of the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the symbols or codes of the eight petal flowers in the tunic and the coincidence with the main volcanoes of Mexico, the constellations that are formed by the stars on her robe and, that in the day of the apparition, December 12, 1531, were in the sky, the presence of the Halley comet at the zenith of Mexico at the moment that Our Lady of Guadalupe appears at the Tepeyac. He lets us know the letters that the Bishop of Yucatan, Crescencio Carrillo y Ancona, kept in his personal archives where the historian Joaquin Garcia Izcabalceta, who at the beginning denied the apparitions, mentioned that he accepts them. Fernando Ojeda Llanes is a public accountant with a master degree in finances. He works as business consultant; he is also a college professor for master degree and bachelor programs at the Mayab University and at the Universidad Autonoma de Yucatan. Using his knowledge and his great experience in investigation techniques, acquired during his thirty years of working in his profession, he devoted several years to obtain interesting information in regard to Our Lady of Guadalupe.
