This book, dedicated to Saint Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort, desires to acknowledge and extend the great theme of Marian slavery of love which he has bestowed upon the Church. According to his True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, Saint Louis-Marie nurtures a spirit of slavery towards the Blessed Virgin Mary among the faithful in order to perfect in them the imitation of the Incarnate Word, God made man and living within the womb of His most Blessed Mother. This devotion to Saint Louis-Marie has also emerged due to his great spirit of sanctity strongly opposed to the world, his love of the wisdom of the Cross and his zeal for the “missionary adventure” for the salvation of souls.

Father Arturo Ruiz Freites is a priest of the Institute of the Incarnate Word. Ordained in 1984 in Argentina, he obtained his Licentiate in Dogmatic Theology from the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas in Rome three years later; a Licentiate in Biblical Exegesis from the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome in 1995; and a Doctorate in Dogmatic Theology from the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas in Rome in 1998 with a thesis on the College of Bishops and the communion of the Church in the Magisterium from Vatican II to John Paul II.
Currently, Father Ruiz oversees the Biblical Exegesis Department at the Center for High Studies "San Bruno Vescovo di Segni" in Segni, Italy. He is a professor in both the Department of Biblical Studies and Theology.
