gives three
meanings for the term “maturity:” It is understood as the
ripening of fruit, as having good judgment or prudence
(sensibility), and as the age of a person who has reached his
fullness of life and has not as yet reached old age. None of these
definitions fully coincide with the philosophical concept of the
“maturity of the human person,” although they open for us the
way to understand it
